These are breeding tips on how to breed a purebred with *NO INBREEDING OR BROKEN LINES!
- First, you can start off by taking the stallion you want to breed.
- Click on it's pedigree, and make sure none of the horses are deleted or sent to pasture 3. (If it is, don't breed it. It's broken lined).
- Next, preferably for a 100% healthy colt/filly, vet and farrier your stallion.
- Then, go down to his breeding section and check mark the boxes that say *Make available for stud. *Only breed with accepted mares. Do NOT check mark Change to gelding. Your stallion will not be able to breed anymore or ever again.
- After that, exit off your stallion's tab, and go to the mare's tab.
- Make sure the mare has no broken lines, or inbreeding in the pedigree. (Inbreeding is if you see a horse's name twice in a pedigree or if two of the same line names bred together).
- Then, vet and farrier your mare for healthy foal results.
- Last but not least, go back to your stallion and go to his breeding tab. Once you're there, click on breed, and then click "Breed" to the mare that you already prepared for breeding.
- Finally, congratulations on the new foal, and hopefully it was 100% healthy!
